perfect base for city strolls and park views

I was delighted that the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the charming Jardin de Floridablanca, a beautiful park where I loved to unwind after a day of exploring, and it’s also only a 15-minute walk to the stunning Cardenal Belluga, making it super easy to see the best sights of Murcia without needing transportation.

Surprised in the best way!

Delighted by this charming hotel! Staff were exceptionally friendly and gave top-notch restaurant recommendations. The small pool was a refreshing escape from the heat, and the complimentary welcome drink made us feel special. Perfectly situated within walking distance of the historic center, it exceeded my expectations for a city break!

Unfortunately, there was a significant misunderstanding regarding our dog. Upon arrival, we learned they were not truly dog friendly, and we had to manage our meals separately as breakfast was not allowed with our pet. the air conditioning in our room was very weak, making it uncomfortable during our stay.

The Catalonia offers a superb hot and cold buffet breakfast with extended opening hours, which was convenient for my schedule. the staff were welcoming and efficient, making every interaction pleasant. The hotel's location is ideal, situated close to the historical centre and a lovely park just two minutes away, providing a peaceful ambiance during my stay.

The room lacked a kettle for tea or coffee.

I was delighted by the complimentary cucumber and lemon water in the afternoons, as well as the attentive breakfast service that catered to my dietary needs, ensuring a relaxing start to each day.

The rooms were very comfortable with ample storage for luggage, which is becoming rare in hotels. I enjoyed the roof terrace, perfect for sipping a cocktail while soaking up the sun. The breakfast selection was excellent and varied, satisfying even the fussiest eaters. I also appreciated the mountain view from the terrace, adding a serene backdrop to my morning routine.

Though the staff was generally friendly, some responses could use a bit more promptness.

Everything was spot on.

The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, providing a restful atmosphere after exploring the nearby historic sites. The complimentary local cheese offered at breakfast was a delightful surprise, showcasing the regional flavors. A downside was the staff's response times, which could improve. we encountered a brief delay during check-in. while the air conditioning functioned, it could have been more efficient, especially during warmer days. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable.
